Our full terms and conditions are below. However, to make things easier, here are the important points:

  • We require personal information – usually name, email and date of birth – to activate the card. We will never share this information but we may contact you with information about our products that we think may be of interest to you.
  • The maximum amount that we will store on one card at any time is £50.
  • You will accrue points on every purchase, on presentation of your card.
  • You may redeem either credit, to any value, on all purchases except for additional cards.
  • You may redeem points, to the nearest lowest pound, on all purchases except for additional cards.
  • If you lose, damage or otherwise mislay your card, we will replace it once free of charge. After that we will charge a replacement fee.
  • We will cancel your card if it has not been used for 12 months.

Discover D’nisi Card Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Discover D’nisi Card (henceforth referred to as “DDC”) and govern the relationship between D’nisi Limited (“we” or “us”) and you or the person to whom you give the DDC (“you”). Use of your DDC will constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions override any statements on your DDC if they are different. You must therefore read them carefully. If there is anything you do not understand, please contact us through the Contact Us section on the website.

Purchasing your Discover D’nisi Card
The DDC can be purchased at any of our stores. The maximum amount that may be stored on any one DDC at any time is £50. Your DDC is issued by, and remains the property of, D’nisi Limited, Quarry Street, Hamilton, ML37AU

Using your Discover D’nisi Card
You may redeem your Card at any of our stores. When you use your DDC the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. The remaining balance may be applied to future purchases. Change will not be given. You may check the balance on your DDC at any of our stores. You may top up the balance on your Card. Your DDC is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. You may not exchange your DDC for cash. Refunds will not be given for the purchase of a DDC. We reserve the right to refuse to accept damaged cards or cards which we believe may have been stolen or obtained in another illegal way.
Once in use you will accrue points on your DDC at a current rate set by us plus various offers on other products throughout the year. This rate is currently 3 points for every £1 spent. You may ask in store for your point balance at any time.
Redemption of points is at a rate set by us which may vary over time. Again please ask in store or contact us through the Contact Us facility on the web for details. You may only redeem points in increments of £1. Unspent points will remain on your balance to be added to. We will not transfer, sell, or otherwise giveaway points unless expressly arranged. Points have an intrinsic cash value.
You cannot use D’nisi Loyalty points to purchase DDCs. You cannot earn Loyalty points when you purchase a DDC.

Registering your Discover D’nisi Card
We will only recognise use of your card if it is accompanied by full details as specified by us at issue. These details must be completed and given to us before use of your card commences. We will never pass on your details to any other company. We like to contact you from time to time with information about our products that we think may be of interest to you. You can unsubscribe from receiving marketing e-mails by following the 'Unsubscribe' links at the bottom of every e-mail we send, or by contacting us.

Expiration and Cancellation
Your DDC and the balance on it will expire if the card is not used for 12 consecutive months. We reserve the right to cancel your DDC if we suspect it is being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Loss, Theft, Damage
You should take care of your DDC and treat it like cash. We are not responsible for lost or stolen cards. You should immediately report any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of your DDC to us via the Contact Us section on the website. If you lose your DDC or it is stolen, damaged or malfunctions, we may, at our sole discretion, replace your DDC and transfer the balance stored on it to a replacement card. Circumstances in which we may determine not to replace your DDC include where we reasonably believe that the notified incident has been caused by your breach of these Terms and Conditions or where there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that you are or have been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct. We reserve the right to charge a replacement card fee for each replacement card in the event that you are issued with more than one replacement card within any 6 month period. If you subsequently find or retrieve a DDC which you have reported lost or stolen, you must notify Customer Services immediately.

Resale/Use in Promotions
You may not sell your DDC. DDC may not be used in sales or promotional activities including as give-aways or prizes in competitions without the prior consent of D’nisi. D’nisi reserves the right to cancel any DDC that it suspects has been resold or obtained in connection with an unauthorised sales or promotional activity.

Data Protection and Privacy
If you register your DDC on the D’nisi website you will be asked to provide certain personal information, including your name and e-mail address. We are committed to maintaining the security of your personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction.

Liability of D’nisi Limited
D’nisi Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of a DDC where such loss or damage arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Where any loss or damage arises from a cause within our control, our liability to you shall not exceed a sum equal to the balance on your card as at the date that such loss or damage occurs. This clause shall not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Variation
We reserve the right to amend or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time or to terminate the DDC service on reasonable notice. The Terms and Conditions applicable to the use of a DDC shall at any time be the terms and conditions published on www.dnisi.com and your continued use of the DDC shall constitute your acceptance of such terms and conditions.

Assignment
We may transfer the benefit of these Terms and Conditions to any other company in the same group of companies as D’nisi Limited. If we assign the benefit of these Terms and Conditions, your rights will not be affected.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Scottish law.
